St. Joseph Miracle Prayers: Crisis

In today's world, no matter what is going on in our nation, or in our lives, God alone can comfort us at the deepest level of our being.

"And he changeth times and ages: taketh away kingdoms and establisheth them, giveth wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to them that have understanding.

He revealeth deep and hidden things, and knoweth what is in darkness: and light is with him." (Dan. 2:21-22)

Governments and leaders come and go. As the old song says, "kings and kingdoms/ will all pass away/ but there's something about that Name." The Name of Jesus reigns and will remain!

Truly, St. Joseph knew that God alone can guide us and comfort us. In the time of crisis, when Herod was having all the children of Bethlehem murdered, he did not panic, but the Lord comforted him and guided him in a supernatural dream. God's angel revealed to St. Joseph exactly what to do. (Matt. 2:13)

As we call on his intercession, as patron of the Church around the world, we pray not only for ourselves, but for all Christians, many of whom are already persecuted!

Excerpt from Dr. Ralph Martin’s recently published book A Church in Crisis:

“IT’S CLEAR that we are living in a time of confusion and division, both in the Church and in the world. I am not qualified to evaluate whether this is the worse confusion the Church has seen or not----we have been through some pretty bad times over the centuries----but it is serious. And it Is our time and our confusion, so it is something we must deal with. The world is always beset by confusion and division, but it is certainly intensifying throughout the world as hostility to the Church and its teachings grows. Many human rights groups who track the persecution of Christians worldwide claim that even more Christians are being persecuted and killed for their faith today than in the early centuries of the Church when Christianity was illegal in the Roman Empire.”

According to Open Doors, the following statistics are true of 2020:

Over 260 million Christians living in places where they experience high levels of persecution

2,983 Christians killed for their faith

9,488 churches and other Christian buildings attacked

3,711 believers detained without trial, arrested, sentenced or imprisoned

We pray in the Name of Jesus, through the intercession of St. Joseph, Mother Mary and all the saints, for the grace to persevere and follow Jesus no matter what!

"I have decided to follow Jesus...no turning back...no turning back."

Calling on the prayers of St. Joseph:

Hail, Guardian of the Redeemer,

Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

To you God entrusted his only Son;

in you Mary placed her trust;

with you Christ became man.

Blessed Joseph, to us too,

Show yourself a father

and guide us in the path of life.

Obtain for us grace, mercy and courage,

and defend us from every evil. Amen.

Amen.
